Gtechniq, a leading manufacturer of automotive and marine ceramic coatings have branched out into the bike industry and wanted to showcase the effectiveness of their new ceramic coating product. They wanted to demonstrate how effectively the coating repels dirt, mud, and other contaminants. We filmed the Canyon Ultimate bike being sprayed with a muddy water solution in a studio setting. The bike was then filmed at high speed to capture the mud repelling off the bike frame. In post-production, the footage was reversed and played in slow motion to clearly showcase the effectiveness of the ceramic coating. The finished product was a powerful and visually striking video that effectively demonstrated the durable and long-lasting protection provided by Gtechniq's ceramic coating product. The slow-motion footage of the mud repelling off the bike frame was particularly impactful, highlighting the product's ability to keep the bike looking clean and new for longer. The video has since been used as a key part of Gtechniq's marketing efforts and helped to drive sales of their ceramic coating products.
